Who we are

The planet is facing an unprecedented climate crisis, with repercussions that threaten ecosystems, public health, and social stability. In response to this urgent situation, bold and coordinated actions are essential. Established in 2020, HCA (Healthy Climate Action) is a non-governmental organization registered under number 2020/174/DEP-ATL/SG/SAG-Assoc on November 23, 2020, dedicated to combating climate change and promoting sustainable and equitable development. Its mission is centered on protecting vulnerable communities, facilitating a just energy transition, and encouraging environmentally friendly technological innovations.

By adopting inclusive approaches focused on climate justice, gender equity, and the protection of marginalized populations, HCA aims to build a resilient and sustainable future through its main strategic pillars :

  • Mitigation and adaptation to climate change : Strengthening community resilience against climate impacts.

  • Promotion of renewable energy and technological innovations : Developing sustainable solutions for a global ecological transition.

  • Fighting pollution and protecting human health : Reducing environmental nuisances to preserve quality of life.

  • Empowerment of marginalized populations : Supporting vulnerable groups, with a particular emphasis on women's empowerment.
